Mr. Cassani is a founder and Managing Director of Haven Capital, a specialized advisory firm founded in 2009 and located in Silicon Valley. Since its founding, Haven Capital has been active in real estate investment and development, as well as capital raising and strategic advisory for private companies, particularly in the real estate and technology sectors.

Prior to co-founding Haven Capital, Mr. Cassani served as a Managing Director at Citigroup Global Markets where he worked closely with ShoreBridge founder, Mr. Blagdon. Mr. Cassani led the firm’s west coast private equity placements business. Before joining Citigroup, Mr. Cassani was Vice President of Client Management for Brand3, a venture-backed software company, and prior to that was a Principal in the Corporate Finance Group at Montgomery/Banc of America Securities. Over his career, Mr. Cassani has led the execution of an extensive number of IPOs, public equity and debt offerings, M&A transactions, and private equity and debt placements.

Mr. Cassani currently serves on two corporate boards: NYSE-listed venture lending company TriplePoint Venture Growth BDC and privately held TriplePoint Venture Credit, BDC, where he serves as audit committee chair. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from Columbia Business School. Mr. Cassani currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 registrations as well as Series 63 registration.
